Impressions

The total number of times your content was displayed, including repeat views by the same person.

Impressions count how many times your content was shown — in total. Unlike reach, impressions include repeat views, so one person seeing your post three times equals three impressions but one reach.

Comparing the two is useful: a high impressions-to-reach ratio means people are seeing your content multiple times, which can signal strong interest (or simply heavy re-circulation).

Impressions alone are a vanity metric — big numbers feel good but don’t prove value. Pair them with engagement and reach to understand what’s actually working.
