Conversion Rate

The percentage of people who completed a desired action — a sale, sign-up or follow — out of those who had the chance.

Conversion rate measures how effectively your content turns attention into action: (conversions ÷ total opportunities) × 100. A conversion can be a purchase, an email sign-up, a download, or even a new follow.

It’s the metric that connects social media to real outcomes. High reach with a low conversion rate means people see you but don’t act; improving the offer, the call to action, and the landing experience lifts conversions.
